Samsung is reportedly on the verge of unveiling its next-gen foldable devices: the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7, during the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event. Although specific details regarding the announcement remain elusive, a recent report by 9to5Google indicates that these innovative smartphones could make their debut in early July. Moreover, this year’s Unpacked event is expected to be hosted in the United States.

Reports suggest that the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7 may officially launch on July 4. The Unpacked 2025 event will take place in New York City, USA. For those who may not remember, last year’s Unpacked event occurred in Paris. This marks Samsung’s return to the U.S. for its flagship launch after a three-year hiatus, as noted in a report by JoongAng.
Along with the highly awaited Galaxy Z Flip FE and the new Galaxy G Fold, Samsung may also unveil the Galaxy Watch 7 series and its inaugural Android XR headset. However, the complete lineup of products intended for unveiling remains unknown.

Both upcoming devices are likely to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 series chipset and will feature the Android 16-based One UI 8 interface out of the box. In terms of display, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 is rumored to boast a 6.85-inch AMOLED main screen alongside a 4-inch cover display. Meanwhile, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 may debut with an impressive 8.2-inch AMOLED panel.
The Galaxy Z Flip 7 is expected to be fueled by a 4,174 mAh battery, while the Z Fold 7 is rumored to equip a larger 4,400 mAh battery. Furthermore, in the photography department, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 might feature a formidable 200MP main camera, supplemented by a 12MP ultrawide lens and a 10MP telephoto sensor. Conversely, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 is anticipated to sport a 50MP primary shooter alongside a 12MP ultrawide sensor.
Reports indicate that the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 could have a starting price of Rs 1,09,999, while the Galaxy Z Fold 7 may commence at a price point of Rs 1,64,999. However, the exact pricing details have yet to be confirmed.
