Addressing the uproar surrounding the allegations, an Uber spokesperson communicated with Reuters, saying, “We do not set prices based on a rider’s phone manufacturer. We are eager to collaborate with the Central Consumer Protection Authority to clarify any misunderstandings.” As for Ola, Google, and Apple, they have not provided any comments regarding the allegations at this time, and Ola is still unresponsive to the notices they received.
