The Oppo Reno 14 series has officially been unveiled in China, and the brand is now preparing for a global rollout, which includes its launch in India. Although no official date has been confirmed for this global unveiling, recent leaks suggest a potential launch within the first week of July 2025 for the Indian market. Reports also indicate that the smartphones would likely mirror the features seen in the Chinese variants, although they might be offered in just two color options, with Pearl White being one of them.
For context, the Reno 14 and Reno 14 Pro models were launched in China earlier this month. Here’s a comprehensive overview of what to expect for the Indian release of these smartphones.
The Oppo Reno 14 series is on track for an earlier-than-anticipated debut in India, with initial reports indicating that it could arrive as soon as the first week of July. However, official confirmation regarding the exact launch date is still awaited.
Oppo has announced its integration of Gemini AI tools across various applications, including OPPO Notes, Calendar, and Clock, specifically for the upcoming Reno 14 series. Additionally, it is rumored that the Indian variant will boast features similar to its Chinese counterpart. This includes a stunning 6.7-inch OLED display with a 1.5K resolution, powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 chipset. A significant highlight will be its 6,000mAh battery coupled with 80W SUPERVOOC fast charging technology.
In terms of durability, the Oppo Reno 14 may come with water and dust resistance ratings, including IP66, IP68, and IP69. For camera enthusiasts, the device is likely to feature a triple rear camera configuration, comprising a 50MP primary sensor, a 50MP telephoto lens with 3.5x optical zoom, and an 8MP ultra-wide lens. The front camera is expected to be equally impressive with a 50MP sensor dedicated to selfies.
Conversely, the Reno 14 Pro variant is projected to sport a slightly different camera setup. It could feature a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens, alongside a 50MP primary sensor and a 50MP telephoto lens. The Pro model is likely to be equipped with the Dimensity 8450 chipset for enhanced performance.

The Oppo Reno 14 series is expected to initiate at a price of around ₹40,000 in India. For reference, the previous Reno 13 series was launched with a starting price of ₹37,999, indicating a slight increase this time.
