Recent reports indicate that Samsung has put a stop to the One UI 7 rollout for the Galaxy S24 series following numerous complaints from users about a significant bug. Reports from social media and insights from well-known tipster Ice Universe reveal that several users of the Galaxy S24 series are struggling with unlocking their devices under certain conditions after applying the One UI 7 update. The reports underline that this bug impacts a crucial functionality of the device, prompting Samsung to prioritize a halt to the update’s wider distribution.
In an intriguing turn of events, Samsung has yet to disclose when users can expect the One UI 7 update for older smartphone models in India. Sources suggest that the company is currently evaluating the firmware to rectify the identified issues and avert potential disruptions. This development means that users outside of South Korea will face delays in receiving the update.
