ToggleSamsung has officially declared the much-anticipated release date for the One UI 7 update, which is based on Android 15. This update promises to enhance user experience through a variety of new AI-driven features and an array of design enhancements. However, it’s important to note that not all devices will receive the complete suite of features available in this update. A notable feature, Audio Eraser, will unfortunately be absent for those using the Galaxy S23 series smartphones. Let’s delve into everything you need to know about the One UI 7 update.
The rollout for the One UI 7 update is slated to begin on April 7, primarily affecting the Galaxy S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra models, as well as the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6. However, Samsung has yet to provide precise timings for this rollout process.
For users with older models like the Galaxy S23 series, S23 FE, Z Fold 5, Z Flip 5, and selected Galaxy tablets, the update is expected to be deployed gradually. Reports suggest that this will occur between late April and early May, as per leaks circulating online.

According to information disclosed on Samsung’s blog, the Audio Eraser feature, which effectively eliminates background noise from video recordings, will not be made available to Galaxy S23 series users. This tool will be exclusively offered for the newer Galaxy S24 series, including the S24 FE, as well as the Galaxy Z Fold 6, Z Flip 6, and Galaxy Tab S10 series.
