When Netflix released the live-action version of One Piece in 2023, fans weren’t sure what to expect. After all, adapting such a legendary anime and manga was no easy task. But to everyone’s surprise, the show turned out to be a massive hit. In less than two weeks, it received over 37.8 million views, earning praise from both longtime fans and newcomers.

Well, we already knew that One Piece Season 2 was definitely happening. Now, Netflix has finally revealed when it will arrive. From the official release timeline to plot, here’s everything we know so far about the second season of One Piece.

One Piece Season 2 release timeline

Netflix has officially confirmed that One Piece season 2 will be released in 2026. However, a specific date hasn’t been announced yet.

One Piece season 2 plot 

The next season will pick up where the first left off, continuing the Straw Hat Pirates’ journey through the Grand Line. The storyline will explore Loguetown, Reverse Mountain (Twin Capes), Whiskey Peak, Little Island, and Drum Island. Co-showrunner Matt Owens confirmed that the character Dr Kureha will have a big part in season 2.
