ToggleNothing is gearing up to launch its next smartphone — the Nothing Phone 3 — in July 2025, sticking to the same launch cycle as Phone 1 and Phone 2. The London-based startup has already started teasing this phone as its “first true flagship,” raising expectations sky-high.
According to the company, the Nothing Phone 3 will feature “premium materials.” Also, this phone is said to offer major improvements in performance and software. Leaks and reports suggest several changes in store — from an upgraded chipset to brighter display. Let’s take a look at top five changes you can expect from the Nothing Phone 3 versus the Phone 2.
The Nothing Phone 2 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor. As Nothing claims that the Nothing Phone 3 will come with major performance upgrades, it’s safe to assume that the device will be equipped with a better processor as compared to the Phone 2. If leaks are to be believed, the Nothing Phone 3 could either be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite or the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.

The Nothing Phone 2 houses a dual camera setup on the back, consisting of a 50-megapixel main sensor and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens. Word has it that the Phone 3 will have a triple-rear camera setup consisting of a 50MP primary sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom.
The Nothing Phone 2 offers a peak brightness of 1,600 nits. Leaks suggest that the Nothing Phone 3 will come with a brighter display. It is rumoured to offer a peak brightness of 3,000 nits.
The Nothing Phone 3 is expected to come with a bigger 5,000 mAh battery with 100W fast charging support. For comparison, the Phone 2 packs a 4,700 mAh battery and 45W fast charging. The Phone 3 is also said to get 50W wireless charging support.

The Nothing Phone 2 was launched in India at a starting price of Rs 44,999. Nothing’s CEO Carl Pei recently revealed that the Phone 3 would be priced around £800. The price in India could fall between Rs 50,000 to Rs 60,000.
