ToggleFollowing the successful launch of the OnePlus 13 series, which includes the flagship OnePlus 13 and the mid-range OnePlus 13R, speculation is rife about a new addition: the OnePlus 13 Mini. Recent leaks have shed light on various aspects of this device, including its design, features, anticipated price point, and expected launch timeframe. Although the official name is still not confirmed, reports indicate that this device could be OnePlus’ most compact flagship yet, showcasing a formidable chipset paired with an impressive battery life.
Current rumors suggest that the launch of the OnePlus 13 Mini is scheduled for May or during the second quarter of 2025. If these leaks hold true, this smartphone is poised to emerge as the most budget-friendly option featuring the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Elite processor.
Additionally, the OnePlus 13 Mini is expected to boast a 6.31-inch LTPO OLED display that offers a resolution of 1.5K, complemented by a fluid 120Hz refresh rate. On the camera front, this device may feature a dual-camera arrangement, consisting of a main camera with 50 megapixels and a telephoto lens also measuring 50 megapixels capable of 2x optical zoom. Notably, reports indicate that instead of the conventional circular camera module, this model may adopt a bar-shaped layout for its camera configuration. Impressively, despite its compact form factor, the OnePlus 13 Mini could house a robust 6,000mAh battery, ensuring extended usage without frequent charging.
If the rumors are indeed accurate, the OnePlus 13 Mini is set to be the most economically priced smartphone equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Elite chipset. Speculations suggest a price point below CNY 3,099, which translates to approximately Rs 37,000 in the Indian market.
There remains uncertainty regarding the eventual launch of the OnePlus 10T in India. The last T-series model introduced in India was the OnePlus 10T, released in August 2022, with a pricing of Rs 49,999. Whether the OnePlus 13 Mini will find its way to Indian shores is a matter that is yet to be clarified.
