Nothing Technology is gearing up for its next standout launch: the Nothing Phone 3. The company has officially confirmed that this smartphone will arrive sometime between July and September 2025. Although details have been somewhat elusive, recent emoji teasers shared on X (formerly known as Twitter) by the company’s CEO, Carl Pei, suggest that fans could see the device sooner than anticipated. The upcoming phone is set to succeed the Nothing Phone 2 that launched in 2023 and is expected to incorporate advanced AI capabilities.

While Nothing has yet to announce an exact launch date for Phone 3, CEO Carl Pei confirmed via social media that the successor to the Nothing Phone 2 is slated for a Q3 2025 release window. This places the launch firmly between July and September.
The design of the Phone 3 is likely to carry forward Nothing’s distinctive transparent back panel, along with the renowned Glyph Interface that has become a hallmark of the brand. Display-wise, the new smartphone may feature a 6.77-inch AMOLED LTPO screen boasting a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, with a remarkable peak brightness of up to 3,000 nits, making it highly functional even in bright sunlight.
On the internals front, the Phone 3 is rumored to house a robust Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, paired with an impressive 12GB of RAM and offering storage options that could extend up to 512GB. The device is expected to be powered by a substantial 5,000mAh battery, supporting speedy 50W fast charging and convenient 20W wireless charging capabilities.
In terms of photography, the Nothing Phone 3 is anticipated to include a 50MP triple rear camera setup, providing ample options for capturing stunning images. There’s also expected to be a 32MP front-facing camera that promises to enhance selfies and video calls. Carl Pei has also indicated a strong emphasis on AI functionalities in this upcoming model, which may introduce exciting features such as Circle to Search, Smart Drawer, voice transcription, and a dedicated AI assistant engineered by Nothing.

The anticipated price range for the Nothing Phone 3 in India is expected to fall between Rs 45,000 and Rs 50,000. This pricing is noteworthy, particularly since the Nothing Phone 2 was launched at Rs 44,999 for its base variant.
