ToggleAs per recent trends, Google is planning to host its next Made by Google event in August 2025, where it will unveil the Pixel 10 series. This series is anticipated to consist of four models: the Pixel 10 Pro, standard Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and the Pixel 10 Pro Fold. Although official details remain elusive, rumors indicate that these smartphones will come with substantial enhancements compared to last year’s Pixel 9 series. The Pixel 10 Pro is tipped to advance in several key areas, including display brightness, charging speeds, and processing power.
If you’re curious about how the Pixel 10 Pro will improve upon its predecessor, the Pixel 9 Pro, continue reading for a detailed comparison of their specifications.
The Pixel 9 Pro underwent a notable redesign last year, shrinking its dimensions to accommodate the Pixel 9 XL model. It features a compact 6.3-inch flat display and a matte finish on its back, along with a slightly reconfigured rear camera module. For the upcoming Pixel 10 Pro, slight design revisions are expected to include a glossy back and a new Gorilla Glass Ceramic display. In addition, the phone may experience a slight increase in thickness, approximately by 1mm.
Google is likely to introduce a valuable upgrade with the Pixel 10 Pro regarding display technology. The new model may incorporate enhanced PWM dimming, which could help minimize screen flickering—a long-awaited improvement. Nevertheless, it’s anticipated that the Pixel 10 Pro will maintain similar dimensions, LPTO technology, resolution, and pixel density to the Pixel 9 Pro.

The performance sector is where the Pixel 10 Pro appears poised to surpass the Pixel 9 Pro. The new device is rumored to be powered by a Tensor G5 chipset, utilizing TSMC’s advanced 3nm fabrication process, which offers better efficiency than last year’s Tensor G4. Users can expect noticeable enhancements in performance. However, RAM is likely to remain constant at 16GB, the same as the Pixel 9 Pro.
When it comes to camera capabilities, the Pixel 9 Pro is already impressive with its triple rear camera setup. Expect the Pixel 10 Pro to retain the same 50MP primary sensor, 48MP ultrawide lens, and a 48MP periscope zoom lens capable of 5x optical zoom. Google is also anticipated to enhance image processing capabilities through advanced AI features.

While the Pixel 10 Pro is expected to house the same 4,700mAh battery as the Pixel 9 Pro, it is likely to see advancements in charging capabilities. The Pixel 10 Pro is speculated to support 45W charging, which represents a significant improvement over the Pixel 9 Pro’s 27W capability.
The Pixel 9 Pro launched with a starting price for its base variant at Rs 1,09,999, and the Pixel 10 Pro is expected to be similarly priced, around Rs 1,10,000.
