Instead of the typical ‘Plus’ model, a new name—iPhone 17 Air—might be rolled out, while the premium Pro Max edition could be rebranded as the iPhone 17 Ultra.

The iPhone 17 Pro Max could introduce a refreshed design. Reports suggest Apple might abandon the titanium frame featured in the 16 Pro Max in favor of aluminium. Moreover, the back panel is projected to be a combination of glass and aluminium, creating a distinct and modern aesthetic. Unlike the square camera bump on its predecessor, the new model is expected to showcase a larger, rectangular camera arrangement made of aluminium.

The iPhone 17 Pro Max is rumored to include a cutting-edge anti-reflective display. This new screen technology is anticipated to offer greater resistance to scratches when compared to the Ceramic Shield used in the iPhone 16 Pro Max, enhancing durability and user experience.
Camera functionality is set to take a significant leap with the iPhone 17 Pro Max. This upcoming model is expected to feature a 48MP telephoto lens, replacing the previous 12MP lens. As a result, it’s likely that all three rear cameras will now boast a 48MP configuration.
