The much-anticipated launch date for the Motorola Razr 60 Ultra 5G in India has been officially announced. This innovative clamshell-style foldable smartphone will make its debut on May 13, 2025. Ahead of the official launch, Motorola has been teasing various aspects of the device, including its design, key specifications, and other exciting details. It will be available for purchase via Amazon, and is touted to be the fastest-charging and most powerful flip phone on the market. Customers can look forward to three distinct color options: Mountain Trail, Rio Red, and Scarab.

The Motorola Razr 60 Ultra is anticipated to feature a meticulously redesigned titanium hinge, creating a robust and elegant folding mechanism. The device will showcase a hole-punch design on the main inner display, complemented by incredibly thin bezels for a modern aesthetic. Additionally, it will be equipped with dual outward-facing cameras on its cover display, enhancing photography capabilities.
As for styles, the Razr 60 Ultra will come in a variety of luxurious finishes: the Alcantara option, Vegan Leather, and a unique Wood Finish, specifically for the Rio Red, Scarab, and Mountain Trail variants respectively. Motorola has clearly prioritized both function and visual allure in this latest offering.
In terms of performance, the smartphone is confirmed to harness the power of a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, combined with an impressive 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage capacity. This ensures a seamless user experience and ample space for apps, photos, and videos. Furthermore, users can take comfort in knowing that the Razr 60 Ultra will feature a Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic cover display, along with an IP48 rating for water and dust resistance, enhancing its durability.
Photography enthusiasts will appreciate the fact that this smartphone is setting a new standard for flip phones by incorporating a dual 50-megapixel camera system on the rear, alongside a 50-megapixel front-facing sensor dedicated to selfies and video calls. While additional features remain under wraps, leaks suggest that the Motorola Razr 60 Ultra could share specifications with its global counterpart, which was unveiled in April 2025. Rumored features include a 7-inch pOLED LTPO inner display boasting a superstar 165Hz refresh rate, as well as a 4-inch pOLED LTPO cover display. Powering the device is expected to be a 4,700mAh battery that supports rapid 68W charging, along with 30W of wireless charging capability.
As of now, Motorola has not disclosed the official pricing for the Razr 60 Ultra. However, industry insiders speculate that the smartphone will be priced around ₹1,11,000 for the base model. For context, the previous year’s Motorola Razr 50 Ultra launched at ₹99,999, setting a competitive precedent in the premium smartphone category.
