Interestingly, Motorola did not release the Moto G55 5G in India, and it appears that the same strategy will be employed for its successor, the Moto G56 5G. Nevertheless, the smartphone is projected to make its global debut in August 2025. The expected price point for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant is estimated to be around €250, which translates to approximately ₹24,000.

Well-known tipster Evan Blass recently shared detailed specifications for the Moto G56 5G via X (formerly Twitter). According to these leaks, the smartphone is likely to feature a 6.72-inch FHD+ LCD display, boasting a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness reaching up to 1000 nits. Powering this device may be an unannounced 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 7060 chipset, coupled with options for up to 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. Importantly, this storage can be expanded further to a staggering 2TB via a microSD card.
In terms of software, the Moto G56 5G is expected to operate on Android 15, customized with Hello UI. When it comes to photography, the device is rumored to feature a powerful 50MP main camera from Sony with a LYT-600 sensor alongside an 8MP ultrawide lens, both neatly arranged within a square camera module. For selfies, a 32MP front-facing camera is also anticipated, allowing for high-quality images.
