Nikon India has officially unveiled its next-generation full-frame mirrorless camera, the Z5II, targeting content creators, videographers, and professionals who require high performance on the go. The camera became available for purchase on April 24, 2025, and is priced at Rs 1,49,995 for the body alone. Additional accessories, such as lenses and tripods, will incur extra costs.

Equipped with a powerful 24.5MP full-frame BSI CMOS sensor and the state-of-the-art EXPEED 7 image processor, the Nikon Z5II is designed for outstanding photography. The autofocus system is notably enhanced, providing a staggering 3.5x faster focus performance, even in challenging lighting conditions as low as -10EV. For enhanced usability, the autofocus supports AI-assisted subject tracking for a variety of subjects including people, pets, birds, and vehicles, ensuring that your subject remains in clear focus.

In terms of videography, the Z5II stands out with its 4K recording capabilities at an impressive 60fps, along with Full HD recording at 120fps. Additionally, it offers advanced recording formats including 12-bit N-RAW and 10-bit N-Log, catering to professional videographers’ needs. The camera also supports multiple recording modes, such as SDR and HLG, expanding its versatility.

While the Z5II maintains a design similar to its predecessor, it introduces several enhancements including a robust 3000-nit electronic viewfinder (EVF), a vari-angle LCD screen for flexible shooting angles, and upgraded connectivity options, such as USB-C and HDMI ports. A new dedicated Picture Control button facilitates quick visual adjustments, enhancing the user experience.

Beyond these features, the Nikon Z5II incorporates additional capabilities that elevate its performance:

  • 5-axis in-body image stabilization (IBIS) with up to 7.5 stops of vibration reduction.
  • 14fps continuous shooting with advanced 3D tracking capabilities.

When it comes to accessories, the Nikon Z5II is being offered in several bundles, including:

  • The Z5II bundled with the Nikon 24-70mm standard zoom lens priced at Rs 1,94,995.
  • The Z5II combined with the Nikon 24-200mm standard zoom lens will cost Rs 2,07,995.
  • The Z5II offered with the Nikon 24-120mm standard zoom lens will be available for Rs 2,29,995.

As a special promotion, Nikon is also including a complimentary EN-EL 15c battery valued at Rs 4,990 and an MH-25a Charger worth Rs 2,650 with the purchase of the Z5II, providing added value for consumers.
