This forthcoming device is said to be the successor to the Motorola Edge 50 Pro and promises multiple enhancements related to display quality, performance, and camera technology. The Motorola Edge 60 Pro 5G has recently been detected on several certification platforms, including the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) in India, which often implies that a product is nearing its release. Although Motorola has not unveiled the specific launch date as of yet, these listings suggest that the smartphone’s debut in India could take place at any moment.

Recent leaks suggest that the Edge 60 Pro 5G may sport a 6.7-inch curved AMOLED display that boasts an impressive 144Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, this smartphone is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 chipset, potentially coupled with up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage capacity.
In terms of battery life, the Moto Edge 60 Pro is likely backed by a substantial 5,100mAh battery equipped with 68W fast charging capabilities. It is expected to be running on Android 15 straight out of the box.
Photographic capabilities are also noteworthy, with expectations that the device will incorporate a 50MP main sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), a 13MP ultra-wide lens, and an additional 10MP sensor. For capturing selfies and conducting video calls, a 20MP front-facing camera is anticipated.

The design of the Edge 60 Pro 5G might feature a curved display with slim bezels and an integrated in-display fingerprint scanner. The back of the phone may come with a faux leather finish, providing a premium feel. Furthermore, Motorola is likely to introduce a novel physical shortcut key, akin to Apple’s Action Button, which may offer quick access to frequently used applications or features.
The Motorola Edge 60 Pro 5G is projected to debut with a starting price of approximately Rs 31,999.
