Currently, the service is being rolled out in 16 major cities across India, with future expansion plans already underway to reach more locations.
As per the official announcement from the companies involved, the service is live in key cities such as Delhi, Gurgaon, Faridabad, Sonipat, Ahmedabad, Surat, Chennai, Bhopal, Indore, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Pune, Lucknow, Jaipur, Kolkata, and Hyderabad. There are intentions to extend this convenience to even more cities as the service grows in popularity.

To obtain your Airtel SIM card through Blinkit, customers need to search for the SIM card on the platform. By paying a nominal convenience fee of Rs 49, they can have their SIM card delivered within a mere 10 minutes. This service encompasses both prepaid and postpaid options, allowing users to select mobile number portability (MNP) and switch seamlessly to the Airtel network.

Once customers receive their newly delivered SIM card, the activation process is straightforward. Users can promptly activate their SIM using the Aadhaar-based eKYC method. Additionally, Airtel provides a simplified activation process that includes a guided online video to assist users through the steps. It’s essential to note that the SIM card must be activated within 15 days of delivery. For any assistance needed, existing Airtel customers can utilize the Airtel Thanks app for help, while new users can reach out to customer support by dialing 9810012345.
