Users in South India are experiencing the brunt of the outage, which has resulted in hours of connectivity issues.

As of now, Reliance Jio has not released any official statement acknowledging the issue or updating users on the potential restoration of services.

Numerous Reliance Jio subscribers have reported significant connectivity disruptions, which encompass mobile internet, Jio Fiber, and call services. Real-time monitoring service Downdetector has noted that over 200 grievances have been recorded within just the last hour. Among these complaints, 47% of users indicated they were facing issues specifically with Jio AirFiber, while 41% reported difficulties with mobile internet access. The outage appears to be particularly prevalent across various regions in South India.

Despite an increasing wave of complaints flooding in, Reliance Jio has not yet issued an official acknowledgment of the disruption nor provided any updates regarding service restoration timelines. As a result, numerous users have taken to social media platforms to voice their dissatisfaction over the service interruption, calling for prompt resolutions. Currently, the specific reasons for the outage remain unknown, leading to uncertainty about when normal services will resume.

Many users have taken to the social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter) to report their problems with mobile internet and JioFiber services. Numerous individuals have shared their frustrations, with one user commenting that their Jio mobile internet is completely non-functional, while another pointed out a total absence of network connectivity on their device.

In addition to shared grievances, some users have taken a lighter approach to the situation, posting humorous memes, opinions, and videos to poke fun at Jio during this outage. It’s important to note that while there is no defined timeline for the restoration of services, signs of recovery are evident as reports indicate a decline in Downdetector’s outage graphs. This may be an indication that services are beginning to return to normal across affected areas.
